This double room is on the first floor of the riad and houses an amazing wooden muqarna (an intricate ornamental arch), a rare masterpiece that we discovered in a local antique shop, a few years ago.

 

It frames the bed beautifully and adds a wonderful quality to the room. The small sitting area outside the main door offers the ideal space for some quiet contemplation.
